Leading Auto Care Appearance Line

BPI recently enjoyed their 12th anniversary of their partnership with a leading Auto Care Line in 2015. It all started when this family-owned company decided to stop manufacturing its own product so they sought out a third-party manufacturer. Unfortunately, they picked the wrong partner, who couldn’t adequately support a significant increase in volume for their products. The other guys simply made promises they couldn’t keep.

In a real bind, the company contacted BPI and they stepped up to the plate. BPI Packaging “did what it took” to help. They bought and installed equipment, sourced components, blended formulas, and made product. Since that initial high intensity “rescue”, they have partnered with this company to take many more new products from the lab to production while maintaining outstanding service levels with demanding Big Box retailers. BPI has truly partnered with them over the years, acting in their interests to negotiate with suppliers and adjust formulas to save millions of dollars for them over the relationship.

This family-owned company was so successful that they were acquired by our current Fortune 100 partner. This global powerhouse leveraged the success in the USA and expanded its reach globally. BPI now makes and exports millions of dollars in products for them to Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Trust, based on years of partnership and exemplary performance has made BPI the largest co-packer of their product in the USA.

Established Entrepreneurs
Finally Clean LLC

Finally Clean LLC has several amazing Degreasers and Oil Treatment products for Industrial use. The company also has outstanding relationships with petrochemical companies in Latin America and the Caribbean. Finally Clean was well beyond the idea and garage production stage when they came to us. They had solid sales and were looking to “add a zero” to their million dollar-plus revenues.

One product in the family chemically seals the oil and effectively turns it into silica – “harmless sand”. This product can help restaurants, car shops, manufacturing companies and other places with old spilled oils that need cleaning.

Another product helps remediate damage to the Amazon rainforests and other environmentally sensitive areas. This chemical will help PetroAmazonas and the Ecuadorian government save hundreds of millions of dollars and will dramatically shorten the time it will take to restore five million cubic meters of rainforest to pristine conditions.

BPI Packaging helped Finally Clean refine the formula, lower the production costs and export these chemicals to Ecuador. This is a great example of a proven entrepreneur with solid sales who needed a little help to take his great product to the next level. BPI provides Solutions to Build Better Brands.

Retailers – Private Label
Fred’s

Fred's worldwide headquarters is just a driver and a five iron down the street from BPI Packaging’s consumer products plant. So it was a natural step for us to reach out to Fred’s and offer to help with its private label initiative. We already make household cleaners, fragrances and Pet Care products for other customers in Memphis. Naturally, we respect the proprietary nature of our customers’ brands and formulas, but were able to apply our general knowledge of the product segment to help Fred’s identify several high volume SKUs where a Fred’s branded product would complement the National Brand on their shelf. We started producing and shipping in 2Q2015 with six SKUs. So, we not only expect to be a good neighbor but also to be a great partner with them for many years to come.

Being located in the Distribution Capital of the USA normally helps quite a bit with freight and other distributions costs. There are so many retailers with regional distribution centers in and around Memphis that BPI has a competitive advantage over those who have to ship here from their factories elsewhere. Of course, with Fred’s HQ and Distribution center one block away, we have an even bigger location advantage with Fred’s. BPI sought out this solution to help Fred’s Build Better Brands for its private label options.
